This change is reflected in the <strong>annual FIMI\/NIQ charts<\/strong> (December 27, 2024 \u2013 December 25, 2025), which feature the following podiums.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>the Top 100 Albums &amp; Compilations<\/strong>, pop songwriter <strong>Olly<\/strong> dominates with <em>Tutta vita<\/em>, taking first place ahead of <em>Santana Money Gang<\/em> by trappers <strong>Sfera Ebbasta &amp; Shiva<\/strong> and <em>Dio lo sa<\/em> by <strong>Geolier<\/strong>, completing a podium that captures the meeting point between new pop sensibilities and urban roots.<\/p>\n<p>The same balance emerges in the <strong>Top 100 Singles<\/strong>, where <strong>Olly<\/strong> once again reaches the top with <em>Balorda nostalgia<\/em>, followed by icon pop singer <strong>Giorgia<\/strong> with <em>La cura per me<\/em>, while pop act <strong>Achille Lauro<\/strong> closes the podium with <em>Incoscienti giovani<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Top 20 CDs, Vinyl and Music Cassettes<\/strong>, established rapper <strong>Caparezza<\/strong> leads with <em>Orbit orbit<\/em>, ahead of <strong>Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s <em>The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>, while <strong>Olly<\/strong> returns to the spotlight with <em>Tutta vita<\/em>, confirming a strong cross-format presence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Consumption formats and market dynamics<\/h2>\n<p>2025 confirms <strong>streaming as the central engine of Italian music consumption<\/strong>: over the course of the year, total listening volume (premium and free) came close to <strong>100 billion streams<\/strong>, marking a 5.3% increase compared to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>This is a steady growth with real consumption peaks: for the second consecutive year, in the final week of the year the market surpassed the <strong>threshold of 2 billion weekly streams<\/strong>, a milestone that had already been nearly reached in week 08 (February 14\u201320), immediately after the <strong>Sanremo Music Festival<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The scale of this shift is also reflected in the volumes achieved by the most successful projects: in 2025, <strong>245 albums surpassed 30 million streams (premium + free)<\/strong>, almost double (+96%) the number of albums that, ten years earlier, exceeded 10,000 copies in physical sales and downloads &#8211; which stood at 125 in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Within this scenario, <strong>the physical segment maintains a solid presence, outlining an ecosystem in which tradition and innovation coexist<\/strong>. In 2025, format share is distributed among CDs (50.7%), vinyl (47.1%), and a residual share of music cassettes and other physical formats (2.2%).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Certifications and other records<\/h2>\n<p>In 2025, a total of <strong>421 certifications were assigned<\/strong>, divided among 316 albums, 5 compilations and 100 singles. The relatively limited number is linked to the revision of single certification thresholds starting from week 01\/2025, which effectively doubled the required units in order to accurately reflect the evolution of the Italian music market and the growth in digital consumption.<\/p>\n<p>During 2025, <strong>24 albums<\/strong> managed to maintain a continuous presence in the Top 100 <strong>for all 52 weeks of the year<\/strong>, a result that highlights strong consumption stability.
