ITALIAN MUSIC MARKET: GROWTH BY 10% IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2025
All the data from the Italian Federation (FIMI), from the strong rooting of Streaming to the confirmation of Vinyl The Italian music market has seen solid growth in the first half of 2025, with a turnover of over €208 million, up 9.7% thanks to increased revenues in almost all sectors. Streaming recorded a relevant 9.9% growth – and the premium segment performed excellently (+12.7%), with a turnover of €113 million and a market share of 56% between physical and digital – and the physical sector recorded the best growth: a significant +13%, in a context in which both Vinyl (+17%) and CD (+4.7%) are growing. The first half of the year confirms also the consolidated dominance of the Italian repertoire with both the Top Ten Albums and Singles occupied 90% by local titles. All the data – H1 2025
